Great list, Trudy! Mortonsen’s Three Cups of Tea has been discredited a bit, but his work in Afghanistan is still admirable. Few could have done it–maybe no one else. Thanks for sharing your list!
Mortonsen certainly was questioned, he did good, but like so many that do…..he got a bit carried away. It’s disappointing when you read of someone and respect so much what they have professed to have done to find….not exactly the story. Having said that, he’s certain done more for education in that part of the world then I have.
